Murambi Razor fish

Swordfish, alias "razor fish", "shrimp fish" and "glass knife fish", are mostly active in coral reefs and seaweed areas. The blade fish has a flat, thin and transparent body, usually about 10 cm in length, with a degenerated dorsal fin and a small caudal fin; its mouth is tubular and small, and feeds on microalgae, plankton and crustaceans. The blade fish is dark in color when it is young, and becomes silvery when it grows up, with a dark horizontal stripe extending from the head to the tail.
